Our History
In 1980, Peter Herrera joined with Kim Parker in founding Kim Parker Plants, Inc..
Part of our Mission Statement was to use sub-irrigation technology to reduce watering intervals by at least 50%.
This protocol resulted in a huge benefit to our bottom line while reducing our carbon footprint.
After having personal experience early-on, where we damaged a new oak floor, Peter realized the industry needed a more secure method of waterproofing pots/planters. From this, NoSweat!™ Waterproof Liners was born.
Our Liners are the easiest, safest, quickest to install, and are the cheapest insurance you can buy against water damage.
In 1998 Peter was inducted into the California Interior Plantscape Association (CIPA), now the Plantscape Institute of America (PIA), Hall of Fame.
